Dr. Gary Low

Dr. Gary Low Professor of Education and Coordinator, Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership, College of Education, Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Dr. Low has completed long-term research in the area of personal skills, emotional intelligence, and social emotional learning and their relationship to academic, personal, and career success. Dr. Low is a consulting psychologist and co-author and developer (with Darwin Nelson) of Personal Skills Mapping, Exploring and Developing Emotional Intelligence Skills, Emotional Skills Assessment Process (ESAP), ESAP-College Version, The Emotional Learning System, Personal Responsibility Mapping, and Emotional Intelligence: Achieving Academic and Career Excellence.

Current research and development projects include The Emotionally Intelligent Student’s Academic Success Planner Personal Excellence Map assessment and learning program and The Emotionally Intelligent Adult: Planning Career/Life Transitions and Personal Change. These three projects are in advanced stages of completion and publication.
