Rick Hammett is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Hammett Associates, an enterprise that specializes in providing collaborative, transformational education, training, and human research solutions for public, private, and governmental organizations worldwide. He is also a principal of EI Learning Systems, Inc., an organization dedicated to building healthy and effective individuals and organizations. His education philosophy provides for positive change in people, which he believes is best achieved through the application of the transformational theory of emotional intelligence (EI) (Nelson & Low, 2003), as well as the cognitive-experiential self-theory (CEST) of personality (Epstein, 1997). He combines the two approaches to inform healthier, happier, and higher achieving students, employees, managers, and leaders.
